CertifiedAmiga and the demoscene started the curiosity. Work and self-study turned it into a career. PC builds, IT support, sysadmin work, then DevOps.
I started working young, and growing up was not always easy. I built my way into IT through practice, self-study, and persistence. No computer science degree. Plenty of time figuring things out.
Building is one part. Keeping it useful is the rest: integrations, troubleshooting, runbooks, and the occasional stubborn collector.
I am continuing my education alongside the work. More cloud, more security, better automation. There is still a lot I want to learn and build.
Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot are in the toolbox too. Useful for code, investigation, and documentation. I still own the result.
Husband and dad of three. Family comes first. The lab, the books, and the next project fit around that.
